By Rahh11 I am new to the smart watch world and Fitbit charge 2. Overall I have found the synchronisation to my iPhone seamless and easy to use including the easy to understand set up and explanations of different items. The main negative I have found is that I have read other models are able to change their sleep mode from “average” to “sensitive” to help aid sleeping patterns. I feel this would be a useful inclusion to have for myself with my Fitbit charge 2 despite having the HR monitor as I move a lot in my sleep and so it often will not pick up or log when I sleep. As well as meaning I’ll be able to get a better idea of sleep stages and patterns to try and aid better sleep for myself. Because of this it means I have to use the “start sleep now” button which doesn’t log sleep stages - which I find odd. I like using the “start sleep now” as it ensures it will pick up my sleep, however I don’t see why this should result in sleep stages not being monitored as all I assumed it does is tell your device your planning on sleeping.

Maybe I’m missing something here but this is my view as a very light sleeper who wakes up a lot during the night. Even though I find this one particular point quite frustrating, overall I find the app and watch are really great and I love having it my life! 1 negative in the scheme of things is pretty darn good! Thanks to the whole team! By sharholee My daughter and I were given a Charge 2 for Christmas but when we tried setting them up it found the tracker but won’t connect to Fitbit! We’ve tried everything they’ve advised on the fitbit review pages, disconnected bluetooth, reset tracker, deleted and added Fitbit app again etc etc etc but nothing works and it just stays on “connecting to fitbit” with the cog wheel continuously thinking about whether or not it’s going to move on to the next screen!

It appears many many people have experienced the same problem. Not happy Fitbit and I’m thinking about sending them back to the gifter to get her money back (she’s my daughter so it’s ok). For the amount of money you charge for your product this isn’t good enough! By Jus grrrr I bought my son a Fitbit surge for Christmas. Bought it home, wrapped it up, and watched him happily unwrap it on Christmas Day. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work. It has an error updating for first use, which renders it useless.

Not only that, but I proceeded to call the help line only to find that this is a known problem, and the only fix they could suggest was to turn it all off and back in again. That didn’t work either, at which point they advised me that they couldn’t help me any more.

Fitbit - fix your problems and stop selling crappy equipment which doesn’t work. It’s a disgrace. I will be returning the Fitbit to get my money back and go buy a Garmin or similar that actually works.

I love how it has a speedometer and how it shows the current speed limit.

My speedometer just recently stopped working. I also like how interactive Waz is, just wish more people I knew was on it.

Seems to not be as popular as it was 3 or so yrs ago. Maybe try adding new features, like being about to make points for 5 to 10 to how ever much for gas or points to get exclusive coupons or free food from a couple of places? Or possibly start having different grades of Waz memberships etc? Keep up the good work though.

Its still very cute. I am giving the current version of Waze a 1-star rating because I absolutely hate the 'memorize parking' feature. There is apparently no way to disable it and it wastes time.

I want to be able to turn that function off. Also, when did Waze remove the ability to specify that I want to take either the fastest or the shortest route? I want that functionality back.

There are some days when I may want to go to the short way, and there are some days when I may want to go the fast way. Please bring that back. One star until these issues are fixed. This is a follow up to my last review where I rated the app a 2.5. I have changed the rating to a 1.

I transferred the app to my new phone and although the app recognized my phone number and acknowledged my account, the app would not open with my account. Therefore, all my favorites as well as my history is lost and unusable. I used to like Waze because it does a better job of routing around traffic than Google Maps. I have now switched to Google and only turn Waze on in the rare occasion Google is not showing me a way around the traffic. I live in California.

Otherwise I recommend staying with Google Maps as it is more stable and has never lost my route information. I had used Waze for approximately 6 years. It doesn't get any better than this.

By a stretch, the turn by turn directions by Waze are your best friend as a commuter by car. I'm not a fan of most of the alerts for cars on the side of the road, potholes or weather, or the social platform aspect, but everything else is top notch. Thank you Waze team for saving me time daily on my commute. Two years later the app had proven to still be the best in this field.

It consistently provides accurate estimate of travel time. On occasion it sends you through neighborhoods that you should not drive through, but you learn to ignore the suggestion when it seems plain wrong. On occasion it sends you through neighborhoods that you should not drive through, but you learn to ignore the suggestion when it seems plain wrong. Great when it is working. I love the community based features, and the fact that it successfully rooted me around a road shutdown due to an accident (a friend of mine uses a different navigation, and ended up stuck I'm that traffic for over an hour!) However, recently it started giving me an error while navigating. 'No GPS, showing approximate location.' It is the ONLY app on my phone that uses the GPS and has issues with it. Uber, Google Maps, GPS Status and Toolbox are all fine. Only Waze drops the GPS signal.

I tried ask the fixes I found online for it with no luck. It was working fine prior to the last update. If they fix this in the next update, my review will change to 5 stars. Update: The latest update fixed the issue. Everything is awesome! Great navigation! Waze is great and is my go to navigation app.

Question 1: Is there any way to update app to route us to traffic lights for major intersection crossings? Sometimes in order to find faster routes, I am routed to major intersection crossings without traffic lights which increases chance of accidents and increases time to destination. Question 2: Far too many times, I am routed to the street directly behind the location (like the back of the building) I am going. Has anyone else experienced this?

Will company update this as well?
